Field stripped when I first got it home everything seemed tight and didn't make any noise. SIG had a bad run of them early in P365 production but that problem was licked a long time ago. This contributed to building my confidence in purchasing a Sig P365. I came into this discussion wanting the XL given the improved ballistics with the longer barrel of the XL. I tried the same experiment with the 9mm P365 XL (that’s the long slide version). It cycled just fine, using everyday 147-grain range ammo.
