This has been an issue for several months that I know of. Since the last patch I have only had to do this about 4 times, but now my game will just randomly crash every 10-20 hours. I routinely clear the cache and verify the integrity of BF2042 game files. I've noticed that I get 3 files failing integrity at least once weekly.
