It should have had the #8060DC gasoline head on it but instead has cast# 70009C1 head which I believe was a late. replacement head from IH usually found on IH 450. Was this a direct bolt on replacement for the M or did they have to swap out some other parts as well?response, a 450 lp head does wonders plus an lp manifold. A few other tricks and you can get 70 hp. Obviously an increase in hp decreases longevity, lve built several pullers and runners, these engines will hold together pretty well if you dont run too high an rpm, maybe 200 rpm above stock.
